Chapter 23

Alberto went into the main chamber. King Arthur sees him enter. "How are you holding up? He asks him. """Good. I am going to visit Dagon and Bridget." replies Alberto as he heads towards the room. Once in there, he sees Aella there. "How are you holding up?" Alberto asks Aella. "Good, spending time with the children and visiting Dagon." Replies Aella.

 "It will be hard when this happens." replies Alberto. Aella nods her head yes. "I still wonder how long they'll be under for." said Aella, wondering when Dagon will wake up. "I am wondering the same thing. After this, I am going to do some research to find out." Said Alberto,” as he looks at Bridget.

 Aella notices some movement in Dagon's bed. "I don't think that is supposed to happen." Said Aella, a bit worried. "You stay here. I will get King Arthur."Said Alberto as he runs to get King Arthur. Few minutes later, King Arthur enters the room with Alberto. He sees Dagon moving around in the bed. "Is that normal?" Aella asks him when she sees him enter. “No. I must give him a needle to stop this." Replies King Arthur as he gets the needle ready. "Do you think Bridget will do the same thing?" Asks Alberto to King Arthur. "Probably, it won't hurt her if I give her the needle as well." Replies King Arthur as he turns off the gas on Dagon's bed. King Arthur sees the gas is gone, so he opens the lid. "Alberto, can you hold down Dagon." King Arthur asks Alberto.

 Alberto went to hold down Dagon while King Arthur gives him the needle. After a few minutes, Dagon is calm down and resting again. King Arthur closes the lid and turns on the gas again. He does the same thing to Bridget. "Let's hope no more things happen now." Said King Arthur as he puts the stuff away.” “I agree. I am going to do some research now." Said Alberto as he leaves. Aella explains what Alberto is researching for. “Good idea. It might help us when they will be up and around." Said King Arthur as he leaves.

 "I will stay here for awhile." Said Aella as King Arthur leaves. He went back to the main chamber. "What happen?" Queen Daphne asks when she sees King Arthur enter. "Dagon was fighting the cocktail." replies King Arthur. ""He has been through a lot," Said Queen Daphne. "I agree. Let's hope after this there won't be." Said King Arthur.

 Few minutes later, Alberto enters the room. "Did you find anything?" King Arthur asks Alberto. "Yes." Replies Alberto,” as he tells what he has found out. "That is weird.” "So you are telling me every two generations has to go through this, plus their wives/husbands as well?" asks Queen Daphne to Alberto. "The wife's or husband's won't go through this at all. They sleep like this for a month." Finishes Alberto.

 "Aella won't like this at all." Said King Arthur as Alberto finishes talking. "I agree as well. It also clears the soul. Once they are awake, they feel they are reborn." Finishes Alberto. "You better explain all this to Aella as well." " " Said Queen Daphne. Alberto nods his head in agreement and went back to the room. "It is almost the month of sleep for you." "  Said Queen Daphne.

 (Later.)

 Aella comes running to the main chamber. "What is it, Aella?" King Arthur asks. "It is Alberto; he just collapsed." Said Aella. "You get Castor. "I will go and check Alberto out," Said King Arthur as Aella takes off to get Castor, while King Arthur goes to Alberto side.

 Few minutes later King Arthur was at Alberto side. "What is it?" He asks Alberto."" Alberto didn't answer him. Two seconds later Castor is there. King Arthur lets him do his job. "He is in some sort of pain." Replies Castor as he stands up. "What do you think is causing it? " Aella asks Castor. "I have no idea. We need to move him to my area." Said Castor as he summons two nurses to bring the stretcher.

 (At Castor area.)

 Aella walks in and sees Alberto lying down. Castor sees her. "Do you think it is those creatures that Dagon had? " Aella asks Castor. "Could be. I need to check him over." Replies Castor as he starts to work on Alberto. "I will let you know if I find anything." Said Castor to Aella. "OK, thanks," replies Aella as she leaves. She heads towards the main chamber. She enters it and sees King Arthur."What is it?" He asks her."" Aella tells her what Castor told her. "He will pull through. Dagon and Bridget are doing fine."" "It won't take that long now." Said King Arthur to Aella.

 (Three days went by.)

 Aella went to visit Dagon and Bridget. She tells them what's going on around the castle. Few minutes later Castor enters. Aella sees him. "Any news on Alberto?" She asks him. "Yes, he did have those creatures. I took them out. I guess these do different stuff to different people."  Replies Castor.

 Aella was surprised to hear this. "How long will he be in the coma for?" Aella asked Castor. "Until the end of the week." Replies Castor. "That is good." Replies Aella.

 (A week went by.)

 Aella enters Castor area. Castor sees her enter. "I just started to wake Alberto up. It will take a while for him to wake up." Said Castor. "OK, I will spend time here with Dagon and Bridget." " Said Aella. Aella talks to Alberto for a while. She notices Alberto is waking up. Castor also sees this. "Take it easy, Alberto."" Said Castor as he works on Alberto. ""I want you to sleep for awhile." Said Castor to Alberto as he goes into a deep sleep. "I will let King Arthur know about Alberto.’ " Said Aella as she leaves.

 Few minutes later, she is in the main chamber. "Glad to see you, Aella." Said King Arthur to Aella. "Thanks. Alberto is awake now." Replies Aella as she tells them what Castor found out. "So Alberto had the same creatures as well?" Queen Daphne asks Aella."Yes, Castor was able to take care of it.” Replies Aella.

 (A month went by.)

 "Glad you both made it. It is time to wake Dagon and Bridget up," said King Arthur as he noticed Alberto and Aella arriving. "How long will it take?" Alberto asks King Arthur. ""Not long."Replies King Arthur as he turns off the gas." He watches for a few minutes. He sees that the gas is gone, and he opens the lids to the bed. Both Aella and Alberto watch. After a few minutes, Dagon and Bridget open their eyes. "Is it over?" Damon asks. "Yes, you can get up now." replies King Arthur. "Both Damon and Bridget stand up.

 "That felt good," said Dagon as he stretches. Bridget nods her head in agreement. "I hope we don't have to do that again."  " Replies Bridget. "I don't think so." replies King Arthur. They all head home.

 (Two weeks went by.)

 "Dagon, I was thinking about having a picnic with Alberto and Bridget." Asks Aella to Dagon. "That will be fun," replied Dagon to Aella. Aella smiles as she gets the servants to make lunch for the picnic. After a few minutes,they hand the basket to Dagon. "Are you ready?" Dagon asks Aella. "Yes."She replies as they walk out the door.""

 They walk towards Alberto's home. Damon knocks on the door. Alberto opens it. Dagon explains Aella's idea. "I am sure Bridget will enjoy the picnic," said Alberto as he let Dagon and Aella inside. Alberto went to get Bridget. They return in a few minutes. "Any place you have in mind?" Bridget asks Aella. "Yes, in the garden."  Replies Aella. 'Bridget smiles as they walk to the garden.

 They found a perfect spot, Aella and Bridget get the picnic set up. They talk about the things that have been happening at the castle. Suddenly the castle alarms are going off. "What is happening?" asks the others. "I have no idea. We better head to the main chamber,' said Dagon as he gets up to go over there. The others follow. Few minutes later, they are in the main chamber. "What is going on, Father?" Dagon asks King Arthur.

"I have no idea." King Arthur replies. Alberto notices Dagon's necklace light up. "I think your necklace wants to do something." Said Alberto. Dagon looks at his necklace. "What does it want me to do?" He asks his father. "Try these words,' said King Arthur as he gives him the words. Dagon repeats the words. There is a bright light that lifts Dagon off the ground. Then the light blasts away in different directions.

 After a while, the alarms stop. "I think it is over,' said Aella as she looks around. "Dagon you can relax now." Said King Arthur to Dagon. Dagon relaxes, and the light has stopped from his necklace. "What happen?" Dagon asks his father. "I have no idea. Guards please look around to see anything around the castle." Said King Arthur to the guards. They bow and do the task.

 "Do you think they will find anything?" Bridget asks King Arthur. "I have no idea." replies King Arthur. "I am going to lie down. That power wore me out." Said Dagon as he leaves the room. "I am surprised yours didn't glow as well." Said Alberto to Bridget. "It only does when it is a stronger attack, or when Dagon is hurt; then my will will glow."  Replies Bridget."

 (Later.)

 Dagon is walking towards his home when he sees a limp body lying on the ground. He walks over to it and looks over. He saw a different type of person. He sees some guards. "Can you get Castor here?" Dagon asks. "Yes, my prince." Said the guards as they went off.

Few minutes later, Castor is there. Dagon tells him what he has found. Castor checks him over. "I am not too sure who or what he is." Said Castor as he motions the guards to carry him to his area. "I will let your father know about this." Said Castor as he heads towards the main chamber, and Dagon went home.

 (Three days went by.)

 Dagon went to see his father. Once he is in the room, "Any news on the stranger yet?"  Dagon asks King Arthur. "Not yet. Castor thinks he will come around any time now."Replies King Arthur. Few minutes later, Castor enters with the stranger. "This is Cian. He has a strange story to tell you." Said Castor to King Arthur. "I am sorry if I scared anyone in your home." Said Cian to King Arthur. "No one got hurt. Please tell me your story." Asks King Arthur to Cian. Cian explains who he is and where he is from. "I am the last of my kind." Finishes Cian. "What do you mean by that?" Dagon asks him. "I am a vampire, not a normal one. I am able to change into a vampire and back to a regular being." Replies Cian.

 Dagon looks at Cian in a confused look. "Let me show you." Said Cian as he transforms into a vampire. Dagon and the others were amazed at this. Cian explains what he can do when he is a vampire. Alberto is amazed at this. "My kind are gentle. We don't want any troubles at all until some other place attacked us."" Said Cian. "You can stay here." Said King Arthur to Cian. "Thanks." Said Cian.’  

 "How did you become a vampire?" Asks King Arthur to Cian. He explains how it works. "It takes a while to change?" Asks Alberto. "Yes, it will put you into a trance as well. I have no idea how long it takes, as well." Replies Cian. "That is different.’ " Said Dagon. Cian nods his head in agreement. "Can females become like you as well?" Queen Daphne asks Cian. ‘‘"Yes. When they are vampires, if they are expecting their children, will they be vampires as well." Replies Cain. Queen Daphne was surprised at this.

 (Later.)

 "What is it, Dagon?" Aella asks Dagon as he enters his house. He explains about the stranger and his tale. "You mean he can change into a vampire and back?" Aella asked Dagon. ""Yes. He has shown us how he does it," replies Dagon. "It is still sad that he is the last kind." Said Aella. Dagon nods his head in agreement. "Don’t tell me you are interested in becoming a vampire,"  Aella asks Dagon. "I am. He also told us about the other stuff he can do when he is a vampire. "It might help to fight these creatures that are attacking here," finishes Dagon.

 "Females can be that way too," said Dagon as he explains what Cian told them. "If you do it, I will as well. Let me know what you decide to do. " Said Aella. "I will. Alberto and I are going to hang out for a while," said Dagon as he heads out.

 Few minutes later, he has found Alberto. "In a deep thought, Alberto?" Dagon asks him. "Yes I am." Alberto replies. "Let me guess Are you thinking of becoming the magic vampire?"  Dagon asks Alberto. "Alberto nods his head yes. "Same here. Aella will do it if I become one."  Said Dagon.” Alberto looks at Dagon, surprised. "Bridget said the same thing," replies Alberto to Dagon.

 "At least we can change back as well." Replies Dagon. "It might help with the necklace as well. "Every time you and Bridget use them, you are always worn out," said Alberto to Dagon. "I agree. "I am going to talk to my father to see if it would work or not," said Dagon as he heads towards the main chamber. Alberto follows him.

 Few minutes later, they are in the main chamber. "What is it, my son?" King Arthur asks Dagon. Dagon explains what he and Alberto were talking about. "I had been researching the magic vampire," replies King Arthur as he explains what he has found out. "So being a vampire will help the necklace more? " Dagon asks his father." "Yes. It won't wear you out as well." Finishes King Arthur.

 "I will do it, Aella wants to do it as well," said Dagon to King Arthur. "I was thinking of the same thing." I know Bridget will, as well." replies Alberto. "I will get Cian and your wife here." Said King Arthur as he gets the servant to bring the others here to the main chamber.

 Few minutes later, they are there. King Arthur explains what is going on. "How does it work?" Asks Alberto asks Cian. "There are two ways I can do it. One is the old-fashionedway, or the other is putting you into a trance. Once I am done, I will take you out of the trance, and you won’t remember any of it. It will take a couple of days for the transformation to take place. You will go into another trance, then into a deep sleep for a while. Once that is done, you will wake up as a vampire. It takes another day to be able to transform back into a human again. When you are a vampire, you must drink blood before you’re able to use the magic vampire.”" Said Cian.

 "I like the second one best." Said Dagon; the others agree. "Why don't we do one at a time in case there is an attack?" suggests Bridget to Cian. He nods his head in agreement. "I will go first." Said Alberto. "Sure, once you are turned, I can do the others." Replies Cian.

 "When do you want to do it?" Cain asks Alberto. "Now if you don't mind," Alberto asks Cian. Cian smiles at this. "OK. I need to change so I can do it. " Said Cian as he transforms into a vampire. Everyone watches Cian as he transforms. Once he is done, "Alberto, please stands in front of me," Cian asks Alberto. Alberto does what he is asked. "Please relax and look into my eyes." " Said Cian. Alberto looks into Cian eyes. Cian does a spell and Alberto is in a trance. Cian checks Alberto over before he bites Alberto. After that is done, he lets Alberto out of the trance. "How do you feel?" Cian asks Alberto. "Good. I don't remember anything at all." " Alberto replies. Cian smiles at this. "I want to wait before I do the others. Bridget I want you to keep your eye on him in case he goes into the trance. Once he is in the trance, he must lay down." Said Cian to Bridget. She nods her head in agreement.
