Chapter 26

Queen Daphne sees Alberto entering. "How did it go?" She asks him. Alberto tells her what Dagon saw. He also describes the person as well. "That person is a total stranger to us. We should let the captain know about him as well." Replies Queen Daphne. "I agree. I will let him know.”" Said Alberto as he leaves.

 (Back at Castor's Area.)

 "Too bad we can't locate father," said Bridget as she looked at Dagon. "There is a way. " Said Castor. "What is it?" She asks him. Castor explains what it is. "Will it work when

Dagon is in this state?" Bridget asks Castor. "Yes, all I need to do is make him able to walk like a zombie. But we need you as well in the same state. "Your necklaces will work together," replied Castor. Bridget was shocked to hear this. "I’d better talk to Alberto to see if I should do this." Said Bridget. "I understand. If you decide to do it, I need Alberto's help. " Replies Castor.

 (Later Alberto is back.)

 Bridget sees Alberto entering. "What did my mother say?" she asks Alberto. Alberto tells Bridget and the others what she said and what the captain said. "Castor and I were talking about how we can locate father," said Bridget as she explained what Castor said.

 "Do you think it will work?" Alberto asks Bridget. "It might work. The longer father is held captive, it will be to locate him," replies Bridget to Alberto. ""We can try. Are you willing to do it?" " Alberto asks Bridget. She nods her head yes.

 "OK, I better get the stuff ready. Once you are asleep, I will be giving you and Dagon the elixir. It will be a while before anything happens," said Castor as he starts to work. ""It will take time when the elixirs take effect. You might go under a bit faster than Dagon," said Castor as he gives Bridget the first drink. "OK." Said Bridget as she takes the drink. Few minutes later, Bridget is in the same state."We need to give them the elixir at the same time," said Castor to Alberto. "OK, how long will these elixirs take effect?" Alberto asks Castor. Castor tells him. "OK, I will keep an eye out for Bridget." Said Alberto. "While you are doing that, I will inform Queen Daphne what is going on."  Said Aella as she leaves.” Both Castor and Alberto watch Dagon and Bridget. In a few minutes, Aella will return. "Anything yet? She asks them. "Not yet. It might take a while." Said Castor. "How can you tell when they are in that state?"  Aella asks Castor.

 Castor explains what they will do. "If they get rough, we need to sedate them so they won't harm us or themselves," said Castor. Alberto notices some movement. "I think Bridget is moving a bit." Said Alberto. "Dagon as well. Let's wait and see what they will do." " Said Castor.

 Both Bridget and Dagon get up and start walking out of the room. Both Alberto and Castor follow them. They head towards the main chamber. Queen Daphne sees them. Castor explains what is going on. Both Dagon and Bridget enter King Arthur's private chambers. They walk around the place until Dagon finds a handle. He pulls on it. A door opens. He and Bridget enter. "What is this place?" Alberto asks Castor. "I have no idea." Castor replies. Then Bridget goes to another door and opens it. Both Castor and Alberto see King Arthur unconscious and tied up. Castor feels for a pulse. "He has one, but it is weak." Said Castor. "Alberto stays here with them, and I will get some help," said Castor as he leaves.

 (Later back at Castor's area.)

 "We need to sedate Dagon and Bridget. Once we give them the elixir, they will go out like a light. Then we can check King Arthur." Said Castor as he gets the needles ready. He hands one to Alberto. They both give Dagon and Bridget the needle; it doesn't take that long before they collapse. Alberto and Castor carry them into bed. "How long will they be out for?" Aella asks Castor. "Bridget won't be. She will wake up before Dagon. She will be in a daze for a while." Replies Castor.

 "What is wrong with King Arthur?" Alberto asks Castor. "I have no idea. Who ever put him in that room sure used a strong elixir to keep him under."Replies Castor as he checks him over. Queen Daphne enters the room."Any news?" She asked Castor. "Not yet. I just started the tests on him. " replied Castor. Alberto is keeping an eye on Bridget and Dagon after a while, Alberto notices Bridget is coming around. "Bridget is waking up." Said Alberto to Castor. He comes around and checks on Bridget. "Take it easy; just go back to sleep. The elixirs' are still leaving your system." Said Castor as Bridget goes back to sleep. "How long will Dagon be out?" Aella asks Castor. "Not for a while, he has to sleep for a while. The elixirs' did some wear on his system." Replies Castor.

 (Next day.)

 "Any news on King Arthur?" Alberto asks Castor as he enters. "Not yet. Bridget is awake now. " replied Castor. Alberto smiles at this. "How are you feeling?" Alberto asks Bridget. "Good; I don't remember what I did yesterday." Bridget replies. Alberto explains what she and Dagon found out. "How did we find that room?" Bridget asks, a bit confused. ""I have no idea. Maybe your father will once he is awake." Replies Alberto. "It might be a while. I'm trying to find the elixir they used on him." Replies Castor. "I never knew about that room before. "Said Bridget. "Same here. I would ask your mother if she knew about it. "Said Alberto. "Good idea." Replies Bridget. "You are free to go." Said Castor to Bridget.

 (Back in the main chamber.)

 Queen Daphne sees Alberto and Bridget entering. "I am glad you are up, Bridget. What can I do for you?" Queen Daphne asks them. Alberto explains what they want. "I never knew there was a place." Replies Queen Daphne. "Do you mind if we look through the room? It might help Castor to cure father." Said Bridget. "Sure, let me know as well." Replies Queen Daphne.

 Alberto and Bridget went to the secret room. "How did Dagon and I find this place?" Bridget asked Alberto. "I have no idea." Maybe when he was in your father's shoes, he saw it. Let's see if there is anything here to help Castor with." Said Alberto as he began to look. Bridget joins him. It doesn't take long to search the place. Bridget had found something. "Look what I have found." Bridget said. Alberto went over to check the object in Bridget's hand." We better take that to Castor. I am sure he can figure it out. " Said Alberto. "I agree. I will take this to him." Replies Bridget as she leaves. Alberto still looking around the room. He didn't find anything else in the room. He leaves and makes sure the doors are closed and locked. He heads back to the throne room.

 Queen Daphne sees Alberto entering. "I saw Bridget with something." She asks Alberto. He explains what they found. "I am sure it is the elixir they used in King Arthur. Castor will test it out. That is my guess." replies Alberto. "I hope so too." Replies Queen Daphne. "I better go in case he needs my help." Said Alberto as he heads back to Castor's area.

 On the way there someone grabs Alberto. Alberto tries to fight them, but they hold on him tightly. Someone puts a cloth over Alberto's face. He keeps struggling with the hand on tight until he feels himself going under. Once he is out cold they give Alberto a needle, then they leave without being noticed. Few minutes later, Alberto comes around. He looks around and he doesn't notice anyone there. He stands up and he is having problems standing. One of the guards shows up. He notices Alberto. "What happened to you?" He asks Alberto." He tells him. "I will help you to Castor." Said the guard as he helps Alberto to walk.

 (At Castor's area.)

 Aella sees Alberto entering with a guard that is helping him walk. "What happened, Alberto?" Aella asks him. "I was attacked. I can't remember who did it." He replies. "Put him on this bed." Said Castor as he helps the guard with Alberto. Few minutes later Alberto is on the bed. "Tell me what happened." Said the guard to Alberto. He explains what happened. "I couldn't break free. Whoever was holding me was strong; then a cloth was put over my mouth, and that is all I can remember." He replies. "I need to check you over just in case." Replies Castor to Alberto.

 "How is Dagon doing?" Alberto asks Castor. "Good, He will be awake sometime tomorrow. I just figured out they used it on King Arthur. I was able to give him an elixir that will fight the one Bridget found." Replies Castor to Alberto.

 (Later.)

"I don't find anything wrong with you. I will take it easy for a while." Castor said as he finishes with Alberto. "OK, I will." He replies. He stands up. "Whoa, I am really dizzy."" Said Alberto as he holds onto the bed. Castor comes towards Alberto. "I have no idea what is going on?" Alberto said as he tries to stand still. "You better lay down again." Said Castor as he helps Alberto back on the bed. "I can't feel my legs or anything else." Said Alberto. "Let me check you over again they might give you something. " Said Castor as he checks him over. Castor notices Alberto is having problems breathing. "I need to put you on the breathing machine. You won't feel anything." Said Castor as he puts Alberto on the machine. Bridget went over and is shocked to see Alberto like this. “What happens, Alberto?” She asks Castor. He explains what happened to him. "I hope there is a cure for this." She replies. Castor nods his head in agreement.
